Watchdog: No info on rumored move of Zharov to Gazprom-Media
MOSCOW, Feb 12 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications service does not have information on a possible transfer of the authority’s head Alexander Zharov to media holding Gazprom-Media, which does not comment on the information either, PRIME reported on Wednesday.
“We do not have such information,” a watchdog spokesperson said.
Gazprom-Media said it does not comment on rumors.
Media reported earlier that Zharov may join Gazprom-Media and may be replaced at the service by Andrei Lipov, head of the president’s information and communications technology department.
